To save you time and money, please read this. Woodsmans International invents and develops our own products. We believe the practice of selling cheap knock-offs to be unethical even if it happens to be legal. We do not and will not supply stores that support and practice selling cheap knock-offs, nor businesses that knowingly lie to suppliers, or redirect sales from one company to another, or try to crush the inventors who's products we all enjoy. The businesses below exercised their free choice in establishing their business practices. At Woodsmans International, honesty and respect are mandatory. They are not optional. God Bless you all, even those below. Therefore: Liqui-Fire Pipe Thaw isn't supplied to the warehouses of Home Hardware Stores Ltd., Tru*Serv (Tru-Value), & Canadian Tire.
Home Hardware Scandal Was $10.7 Million dollars stolen from a St Thomas man? You be the judge! A year ago, or so, the air was thick with tales of corporate scandal, lost pension funds, big time theft and even bigger time prison sentences for the Enron gang. Then there was Dennis Kozlowski, CEO of Tyco who was found guilty of in effect of using Tyco's immense financial resources for what the prosecution described as "His own personal piggy bank." Yes, corporate bullying, theft and abuse is alive and well. It takes on a wide rang of various forms and activities ranging from the lining of ones own pockets with stolen money, to third party trade deals, and more. Now the latest scandal, and it's one hundred percent Canadian owned. Many of us, 4 out of 5 according to one study, identify with the helping hands at Home Hardware. But is it really that way? When this company owner discovered that Home Hardware was using my product to redirect sales to a competitor, I told Home Hardware to stop the practice at once. The request fell on deaf ears and the response was shocking. Instead of righting the wrong doing, Home Hardware arrogantly insisted this was legal and even ethical. After years of development, marketing, and dedication, my business was nearly in financial ruin. The actions of Home Hardware caused sales for my product to dry up while sales flourished for my competitor. Calls to various stores all echoed the same response. They were all selling the knock-off product as head office recommended this on it's HomeInfo system. Sales receipts showed one product was now another and both product SKU's appeared and even store owners weren't sure what product was sold? Why was my company's product being used to prevent my sales while directing sales to another product. It wasn't until I started fighting back, with my ticketing cars, writing vendor/suppliers, and faxing the members of the Builder's Association that Home Hardware agreed to stop this practice, almost a year and a half after I'd asked. BUT Home Hardware asked that I immediately take down all reference made to Home Hardware on my website. Still Home Hardware admitted no wrong doing for causing irreversible damages, nor has it offered any compensation. So every time you hear "Help is close to Home" I hope you ask yourself, "Who are they helping?" I employed 17 people over the years but Home Hardware helped put everyone of them out of work!

Woodsmans Fighting BackHonesty must reign in business!February 16, 2006 I'm an inventor. I've invented over a thousand products myself that have never been on the market. It's been a long and hard road. Years of struggle, without any funding to make ends meet and grow a couple markets, and one that didn't exist before my creation. I've nearly froze to death several times while trying to expand my sales until finally after about 10 years efforts, I grew my sales to the national level. Sounds great huh? Well; sixteen years of struggling have passed since I created the first bottle of Liqui-Fire Pipe Thaw. Only to have a few members of a huge corporate goliath association have stolen that invention of mine. They've almost collapsed my business and destroy my life's work. Why should people care? It's like this; they did it legally. That's right, what they did is legal in Canada. But here's the kicker. When an inventive mind is stopped from profiting financially on their creation, we all lose. As in my case of which is only one of thousands, it means that the funds that would have been available to bring my other products to market are not their. You or I will never in our lifetimes see the benefits of an inventors other products. I am hard on myself, and have personally reduced the over one thousand products ideas and inventions down to about 300. I did this so that I could have more time and money to spend on the best ones. Some of these were in the medical field, the automotive industry, the consumer convenience areas, and others were just great products that should have been on the market years ago. Now just imagine how many other inventors have been stopped from bringing their inventions and products to you, the consumer. Well, I'm fighting back. First of all, I will run for political office. If you have voted, then you will see several issues that you, the people of Canada have had severe problems with getting resole over the years. Advice, suggestions, and donations are welcome. Secondly, I have posted below the "Top 10 Most Dishonorable Organizations and Companies" This is a forum for public to complaint against these huge dishonest corporate goliaths. Together, we will show them the consumer does have a voice that demands to be heard and will be.
These results will be posted until the consumer complaint has been resolved satisfactorily to the consumer. However, their name will be removed from the Consumer Caution List 6 months later if there are no new consumer complaints.
