To all 1,100 plus independent owners of a Home Hardware Store.

Store owners will receive the above fax or email commencing March 1, 2007.

Above is how some cities, towns and even store owner's neighbourhoods look.  To my surprise it's catching on and your competitors are very receptive to cars being ticketed and even handing out tickets.  Someone even put them on cars at Home Hardware Stores Ltd.  The ticket campaign is under full swing with tickets now being handed out at major events like concerts, home shows, etc.  Below is a sample of the consumer feedback regarding your practices and the ethics you choose at Home Hardware Stores everywhere.

Keep up the good fight David!  Best of luck to you.  I received a notice on my car windshield today, in Woodstock, Ontario.  Directing me to your Web Site.  They were placed on vehicles in the Walmart parking lot.  I will definitely mention my dissatisfaction to the owner-employees' at out local Home Hardware store located on Springbank Avenue!!

Each and every store owner knows the ethics you've collectively chosen for your co-op and Home Hardware had a good thing going.   So why would you give up integrity and honour for profit?  Why?

Home Builders Associations and General Contractors of every description are being faxed.  This is to inform them of the ticketing program mentioned above and concerns contractors may face from their customers regarding my opinions and information to consumers.  As a store owner, you may have already had some inquiries from contractors and consumers.  Basically, it's this information that concerns contractors.

There is NO HONOUR in "HOME HARDWARE"

My opinion is this:

This isn't about you and I, it's about honesty, and fairness for all.  If you believe you and your children, and everyone should have a fair chance at life then we can't let this stand.  I detest bullying, identity theft, deception, and those who don't understand that "No means No."  Take a stand for honour and justice by doing the following:

1. When a Home Hardware flyer comes to your door, THROW IT OUT!  Don't even look at it just throw it out!  Everything you want is available elsewhere.

2. If you are building a fence, deck or patio make sure the material doesn't come from Home Hardware.

3. If you are getting a new kitchen, bathroom, or flooring insist the material is not bought at Home Hardware.

4. Tell your home builder you won't buy from them if the materials come from Home Hardware.

5. Tell everyone about the ethics of Home Hardware.

6. Tell the local Home Hardware Store that you disagree with its ethics and you will not shop there until David says its okay once again.
